The Log Cabins are fully furnished two bedroom units with living room,
complete kitchen, and bathroom. Each cabin is separated by trees and has its
own special view of the bay. Don't forget your binoculars. Otter, mink, deer and
black bear as well as a variety of ducks and birds can be viewed from the picture
windows at various times of the year.
Everything you need for a comfortable vacation is provided in the 880 square feet
of living space; bedding, linens, dishes, silverware, pots and pans.
The electricity for lights and water pump is 12 volt (battery power). In late July
2000 the local electric company finally wired us for "real" power. This has greatly
simplified the lighting in the cabins as the batteries are always charged up. Now
we don't worry about too many lights on and causing a dead battery. When we
originally built the cabins we did include two 110 circuits to each cabin, and with
full time electricity, it allows you to use a hair dryer, electric shaver or charge
your video camera and cell phone. Bring you cell phone along as many work
great from here. We have free wireless internet service and a coin op washer
and dryer too.
